Maastricht Aachen Airport’s ambitions to grow to 700,000 passengers and 250,000 tons of cargo by 2025 necessitated an expansion of the cargo platform and an upgrade of the passenger terminal. 14,000 tons of asphalt, 15,250m3 of sand and 1100m of sewage were used for the expansion. To ensure that the cables in the drawing pit are safe from moisture and vermin, Maastricht Aachen Airport has opted for RGP transits from MCT Brattberg. In this way, the pull wells in which the cables come together are assured of a watertight transit.
