For the expansion of ProRail’s fiber optic network in Zeeland and West Brabant, fiber optic cables were implemented using the MCT Brattberg RGPO200 transits. In this project, the installer used the additional service of TTT to calculate each passage opening separately and, based on this, to supply a separate package of material for each opening. As a result, the technician can get to work on location immediately, with exactly the right materials available for each passage opening. This not only saves time, it also reduces the chance of errors during the installation. The installer, BAM Infra Energie & Water, is very satisfied with TTT’s solution.

In this project, the outer sheath was always removed for the passage of a fiber optic cable and the individual ‘glass fibres’ were routed separately. This is done to guarantee 100% watertightness.
