RGB casting frames
Embedded windows are available for use in new concrete walls and floors, indicated with the (initial) letters RGB. These windows are fitted in the formwork prior to the pouring of the concrete floor or wall, whereby a recess is provided for the later passage hole through the window.
Available in: stainless steel, primed and galvanized steel.
The RGB frame has a standard internal width of 120mm and is available in four height units: 2, 4, 6 and 8, from 100mm in 60mm increments up to 280mm internal height.
Multiple frames are also possible with the RGB, the frames can be expanded both in width and height.
Installation
When pouring the RGB frames, it is intended that the flange of the frame is placed on the inside of the wall. This ensures that the penetration is firmly seated in the wall, and that it is also waterproof along the frame.
The RGB frames must be attached to the reinforcement of the wall or floor to be poured. In addition, it is important that the front of the frame is easily accessible at a later time to fill with cables and blocks. Normally, the starting point is that the front of the frame is flush with the surface of the wall to be poured. Before pouring, the frame must be filled with formwork or with casting forms specially available for this purpose. The Casting form can then be connected to the formwork with the front of the RGB window, for example with double-sided tape, so that the outer edge of the RGB coincides with the surface of the cast wall or floor.
EMC protection
In some situations, cables and the buildings where these cables enter through the conduit also need to be protected from outside electromagnetic influences. The EMC solution from MCT Brattberg protects against all forms of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference).
The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) develops and publishes general international standards for electrical components and equipment. The standards of the IEC are published in the Netherlands by the Netherlands Standardization Institute (NEN).

RGB in stock
MCT Brattberg’s RGB transits are used on a daily basis. From experience we know better than anyone how important it is to maintain sufficient stocks, so that we can always meet the high logistical requirements set by the market as much as possible. A large part of the MCT Brattberg range is kept in large stock in our warehouse in the Netherlands.
