Peka Kroef BV has expanded the water purification on its own company site in accordance with the latest safety requirements. The potato products company demanded an air-tight and gas-tight construction due to the presence of H2S gas. This type of gas is harmful to the computers in the building next to the treatment plant.
Air and gas tightness was, of course, also required for the cable penetrations. TTTBV field employee Martijn Beekman told the project engineer in October 2012 about the implementations of MCT Brattberg. Beekman: ‘The Peka project engineer was immediately enthusiastic and in December we were able to calculate the frames and blocks.’ At the beginning of February, the ducts were placed in the extensive treatment plant.
Peka Kroef BV supplies an extensive range of potato products to, among others, catering companies and industrial kitchens. In addition, the company is engaged in peeled and pre-cooked potatoes for the salad industry, for example, and smaller packaging units are for sale in supermarkets under its own brand. The entire production process is supervised by our own employees, from cultivation to storage.
