The aim is to adapt the treatment to the current state of the art, whereby it functions optimally again and the life of the treatment is extended by at least 15 years.

After renovation, the space released on the treatment site will be furnished in accordance with our sustainability objective; an energy neutral Water Board Vechtstromen in 2025. This means that solar panels will be placed on the unused space on the site.
